Student Achievement Day New Bern Alumnae held its annual recognition of the academic achievements of area middle and high school minority students. Approximately 360 youth received awards. Six area high school seniors received scholarships of $1,000 each, and graduating Jabberwock contestants received scholarships based upon their participation in the scholarship fundraiser.

On October 10, 2018, chapter member Tina Cothran presented the chapter’s donation to the Boys and Girls Club of Havelock. A donation will also be presented to the Boys and Girls Club of New Bern.

On November 19, 2018, a donation in the amount of $1,000 was made to the Boys and Girls Club of New Bern, presented by chapter President Linda T. Sifontes (left) and Vice President Natalie Standifer.
